You might say gasoline runs in our veins. At Cycle Addiction we're literally all about bikes, specifically late model Harley-Davidson motorcycles! With owners Tim & Stephanie Lewis, the shop has a pedigree not many can boast. Tim was one of those take-everything-apart-just-to-put-it-back-together kids and Stephanie literally cut her baby teeth in a motorcycle shop.
With both spending more than a decade working in conventional Harley-Davidson dealerships and training at H-D University, we combine that history with a strong dedication and determination to bring a little charm, professionalism, and good-ol-fashion motorcycle shop service to the Treasure Valley Riding Community. We take our jobs very seriously and strive to meet top standards of care for your bike.
Cycle Addiction opened its doors on April 1, 2008; specializing in the Service & Repair of Late Model Harley-Davidson & Buell motorcycles. Stop on in for top-notch service by and overseen by one of the best Technicians in the Valley. As for parts, if we don't have it in stock, we can get it no problem. We are fully insured with a 2400 square-foot shop & showroom that has a state-of-the-art security system to provide a secure place for your bike to stay when it's not at home. Stop on in to talk shop and see what we can do for your bike.
Tim got his mechanical start rebuilding classic cars with his uncle and cousins. After spending four years in Auto Shop during High School, he moved on to spend a year at Lake Washington Technical College in Kirkland where he earned a certificate in Motorcycle Mechanics.
From college, Tim went on to work as a Technician for Fast Company Motorcycle Shop in Washington, where he worked on Bourget, Indian, & Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Eventually, Tim grew homesick for Idaho and took a job as an entry-level Technician for Cycle Nuts & Bolts Harley-Davidson/Buell. During his years with the Harley-Davidson dealerships, Tim attended regular Harley-Davidson factory training.
When Birds of Prey Harley-Davidson/Buell opened its doors in 2002, Tim was one of the original crew. There he earned his Master Level Technical Classification from Harley-Davidson Motor Co. and spent several years as the Lead Tech where he was responsible for training the new technicians, performing wreck estimates, and tackling some of the toughest mechanical challenges.
In October 2007, Tim decided it was time to go his own way and so Cycle Addiction was born. It's still the same high quality, professional work you've come to expect from a Master Technician with the personal service you appreciate.
Stephanie Lewis --- Marketing & Events
Oldest daughter of former Cycle Nuts & Bolts and Birds of Prey owners Dick Rockrohr and Mary Rockrohr, Stephanie was literally raised on chrome and gasoline. By the age of five her mom had taught her to identify a Harley just by the sound of the pipes.
Stephanie officially spent ten years working for the local Harley dealerships, most notably as the Birds of Prey General Merchandise Manager from the day it opened its doors until 2005, and as the High Desert Harley-Davidson/Buell Events Manager. Stephanie is also an elementary school teacher. She can be found at all Cycle Addiction events, answering the phones & quoting work when she's not teaching third graders.
Cycle Addiction
Specializing in Service & Repair for Harley-Davidson motorcycles
Jason joined the Cycle Addiction team in 2012 after graduating from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Arizona. Prior to attending MMI, Jason worked for Blade Chevrolet in Mount Vernon, WA where he did pretty much everything there is to do in a Service Department; from detailing to wrenching.
When he's not wrenching, looking up parts, and helping customers at Cycle Addiction, Jason loves getting out on his bike.
Matt Hansen --- Technician
Just after graduating from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (Arizona) in 2006, Matt joined the service team at Birds of Prey Harley-Davidson Shop where he trained under Tim. Matt wrenched at Birds of Prey and Bad Ass Bikes before joining the team at Cycle Addiction, where he wrenches part time.
Tim & Stephanie are Idaho natives. They live in the Valley with their two daughters, Jayden & Lily, two cats, and a dog.
Jason is originally from Washington. We're glad he chose Idaho to put down roots.
Matt is an Idaho native. He lives nearby with his wife, their toddler son, and a new daughter on the way.
Jeff Sime --- Parts Specialist & Service Writer
Jeff comes to us with more than two decades of experience with Harley-Davidson parts and service.
We first met Jeff when he worked with us as the Chrome Consultant at Birds of Prey Harley-Davidson Shop where Tim was the lead tech at the time. That was more than ten years ago. As a co-worker, we loved his enthusiasm and respected his vast parts knowledge. Jeff is great at knowing what your bike needs and what your bike wants.
Since then, Jeff has logged thousands of hours at Harley shops as the Chrome Consultant and Parts Department manager. We're excited to have him working the front desk where he brings his expert advice to parts needs and customization. He's here to answer your questions, schedule your next appointment, offer service advice, and help ensure the wrenches stay turning back in the shop so we can get you back on the road.
Jeff lives in Boise with his two sons, Ryder and Jax.
